We envision a region where our land, water and wildlife are protected, our citizens are informed and our leaders make decisions with the health, well-being and sustainability of our region’s natural environment in mind. We seek to increase and share our knowledge of the natural world through continued scientific research and promoting sound environmental policies. Through collaboration with our partners we work to protect a high quality of life for both our current residents and generations to come. The Conservancy is a grassroots organization focused on the critical environmental issues of the Southwest Florida region. We work to protect land, water and wildlife, control unplanned growth and educate the public. We use science-based research to inform government leaders and promote sound environmental policies and practices. We forge conservation partnerships on the local, regional and national level to have maximum effect. |

MiSSIONThe Community Foundation of Collier County provides strategic philanthropy for donors and nonprofits to strengthen our community—forever. The Community Foundation of Collier County is a tax exempt, public charitable fund, established in 1985 to increase and focus private philanthropy in the area. The Foundation manages a pool of permanent endowed funds established by charitable individuals, and makes grants from the investment earnings to address community needs and issues. Through sound investing, effective grantmaking and building the capacity of Collier County nonprofits, the Community Foundation seeks to strengthen our community forever. |
